In 2014, we created a 51-second video for Best Reviews that has gone on to be shared, seen, and memorialized all over the world. Today, we'd call it a Short or a Reel.

Blurring the line between meme and visual history lesson, Evolution of the Desk has been in most major online news outlets, hundreds of executive presentations, and even academic curricula.

A few of the highlights along the journey include having the piece featured in an exhibit by the Victoria and Albert Museum of London, and its educational use for incarcerated individuals, showing the transformation of the workplace over the past few decades in the hopes of reducing recidivism.

We like to imagine that in a distant future, when young people have never laid eyes on a pencil, Evolution of the Desk will be used in history classes to show students what the world of work was like pre-Internet.
